Preparation

Make a dough for bread from flour, yeast (sourdough) (a piece of dough kept for about a week in cabbage leaf or cornstarch) mixed with a little warm milk, salt, water.

Bake the pumpkin in the oven, peel and mix with the bread dough. Leave to rise in a wooden bowl. Put in round trays, greased with oil, and leave to rise.

Bake in the oven. When ripe, remove and cover with a hemp cloth (to gently peel off the tray).
